How Nadi Creations started
You might know me — I'm Nethmi.
I grew up watching my aunties and grandmas sew. They made customised dresses for me, with love.
I started sewing around 15. I wanted a scrunchie so badly. I remember hot-gluing fabric together — I still have it — because I didn't have a sewing machine.
My very observant parents bought me a sewing machine. Since then, I couldn't stop using it.
That's how Nadi Creations was born. My scrunchie business.
The one that started it
My first one. No sewing machine, a lot of hot glue. I still have it.
I grew up receiving handmade, customised things from my aunties and grandmas. Now I make them for other people.
How a custom order works
Tell me what you want
Colours, fabric, size, how many. A photo or a vibe is plenty — you don't need to know the exact shade.
I confirm the details and the price
I'll come back to you with the total, including postage, before anything is made.
I make it, then you pay
Once you're happy with the quote I'll send a secure payment link, or you can pay by bank transfer.
